Laser nav for bikes

A head-up device projecting directions on the road ahead has been developed for cyclists.

'Open Sight' is a navigation aid for bicycles that claims a safer approach than traditional gadgets for riding, as it does not require the rider to look away from the road ahead.

The designer points out that being distracted by using a satnav is particularly dangerous on a cycle. Hence the Open Sight GPS projects powerful directional laser arrows - visible in bright daylight - on the road ahead.
