The University of Nottingham's IESSG is seeking a GNSS specialist to cover its expanding activities.

Applications are invited to support widening activities of the Institute of Engineering Surveying & Space Geodesy (IESSG) - a RIN Affiliated College.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the IESSG, which is internationally recognised for excellence - based at one of the UK’s strongest research–led universities.

The successful candidate will join the team working on one or two European FP7 sponsored projects - PRECISIO and ENCORE - awarded through the GNSS Supervisory Authority (GSA).

Candidates should, by preference, hold a PhD or Masters degree in a geomatics- or GNSS-related discipline, but a good honours degree will be considered. Experience within the GNSS sector, either through academic research or industry, is essential.

The closing date for applications is 20 August 2010.
