Presented by George Filip Manager for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles, Knowledge Transfer Network

Using autonomous vehicles on Britain’s roads will require a great deal of trust on the part of drivers and the public. Convoys of lorries thundering down our motorways less than two metres apart connected only by electro-magnetic signals will conceivably require even more trust, especially by drivers of lorries number 2, 3, and 4. Even if the engineers get their designs to work perfectly, there are already rumblings in the media over the possibility of interference into their systems by criminals or terrorists intent upon causing disaster. George will cover all these points and much more in his talk. Come and hear the very latest information on this fascinating subject.
