“A Radar Reconnaissance Navigator in Bomber Command in the 1960s” 

Arthur will describe his work as a navigator on 543 Sqn Valiants during the Cold War in the 1960’s. This will include operating the Valiant, Operation ‘Pontiflex’, Mapping in Rhodesia and Nyasaland, and other maritime operations.

This is a Joint Meeting with the RIN History of Navigation Group (HANG). Guests are welcome.  Photo-ID will be needed, so please register with the name on your ID.

The Leidos 'Fusion 1' building is next to the roundabout at the end of the access road from M27 Junction 9 to the Whiteley business park. Turn right into Parkway, then immediately right into the Fusion 1 car park - further parking is available behind the building. Refreshments will be available from 1800. 

If you arrive early, the Parson’s Collar pub, at the entrance to the Solent Hotel PO15 7AJ, is nearby.
