“Unlocking the Value of Geospatial Data.”

Alicja Karpinska & Simon Navin

Ordnance Survey is a digital business which uses the latest data collection and  mapping techniques to create highly accurate maps, and provide geospatial data and services that help governments and companies to be more effective, both in Britain and overseas.

We will look at some of the recent initiatives that are encouraging and improving the discovery, accessibility and interoperability of geospatial data, and how this may unlock essential value and opportunity in the built environment, land, property and construction sectors, as well as future emerging markets such as intelligent mobility, advanced connectivity and smart infrastructure.

Refreshments will be available from 1800. Guests will be welcome.  Please carry photo ID.

Before the meeting, some members might like to go to the very nearby pub & carvery, the Walnut Tree Farm, Adanac Drive, Nursling, SO16 0AU

Online prior booking will be required by 10th Apr.  Contact: Graham Purchase: solsec@rin.org.uk
