About the presenter:
Dr Ramsey Faragher is Bye Fellow (Computer Science) of Queens’ College, University of Cambridge, Founder and CEO of Focal Point Positioning Ltd, Fellow of the Royal Institute of Navigation. Ramsey has written key papers on the topic of Bluetooth proximity sensing in mobile devices, with over 860 citations between them. His insights are proving to be an important piece of the jigsaw to enable effective, accurate contract tracing apps with architectures that find an acceptable balance of privacy and technical possibility.
