SORRY; WE HAVE HAD TO POSTPONE THIS EVENT!

Since it was established as a charity in 1994 NCI has maintained a visual and listening watch of the coasts of England and Wales, during daylight hours 365 days a year.

The speakers, Ian Davis and Andy Wall are both members of the NCI, volunteering at Calshot Tower and Stone Point in the Solent. Andy is also the Station Training Officer and Ian the Station Radio Officer and Solent Sector Radio Training Officer.  By coincidence, in a previous life Ian and Andy were work colleagues based at Swanwick Air Traffic Control Centre.

The presentation will cover; the History and Development of the Institute, Operations at Calshot Tower and Stone Point, with examples of incidents and observations. Questions will be welcome.

Between 1800 and 1930 a simple buffet supper of Lasagne with Garlic Bread and Salad will be available at a cost of £11.75. A vegetarian option will be available. This should be pre-ordered and payment made at the bar on arrival. NB: Meal bookings close on Mon 30th Nov!
