POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Because of the global Coronavirus situation, the Baska GNSS Conference will not take place in Baska in May 2020. The organising team will keep under review and decide later whether to hold the conference later in 2020 or to cancel until May 2021.
We have considered the option to hold the conference online, for example as one or more webinars. However, we feel this misses the essence and spirit of the Baska GNSS Conference. The Baska GNSS Conference is so much more than presenting papers. The Baska GNSS Conference is about meeting old friends, making many new contacts and friends, about taking time in a beautiful location to reflect, to review and to seed innovative and new thoughts.
What we do hope is that the extra time will allow authors to take their work further, do more analysis, to write more and better papers for the Baska GNSS Conference when it returns! The Call for Papers remains open and the conference will be back, so please submit your abstracts when you are ready.
On behalf of all at the Royal Institute of Navigation, please be well and be safe and we look forward to updating you later about our next meeting in Baska.
