There's more to INC than the keynotes and presentations - join us at the evening social events to expand your network while relaxing in the wonderful venues around Edinburgh.
INC2019 will feature networking events in a Swedish Restaurant, the National Museum of Scotland, and the EICC, covering a range of funky and cultural venues. The drinks reception in the EICC on Wednesday provides the perfect opportunity to explore more of the exhibition.
INC2019 has the honour of hosting the Lord Provost of the City of Edinburgh at our icebreaker social at Akva on Monday 18 November. Frank Ross is Edinburgh's Right Honourable Lord Lieutenant and Lord Provost. The Lord Provost is Edinburgh's civic head, an ancient office dating back to the 13th century.
Akva is a social network in real life. Akva is were people meet, relax, work, eat and drink.
Located right next to the Union Canal in the heart of Fountainbridge, Akva has one of the best beer gardens in Edinburgh. When the sun is shining, there really isn’t a better place to be!
Downstairs we’re open from brunch until late every day, with a delicious menu of Swedish-inspired dishes to tuck into.
The building of the new Museum of Scotland, which opened in 1998, to tell the country’s history from earliest times to the present day, created a landmark museum in Edinburgh for the nation.
The redevelopment of the National Museum of Scotland (2006-2011) transformed the adjacent Victorian building into a vibrant museum for the 21st century, opening up public spaces, providing new facilities and displaying our natural world, world cultures, art and design and science and technology collections in innovative new ways.
When the new galleries opened on 29 July 2011, the Museum united the two strands of its history for the first time in a single entity, the National Museum of Scotland, Chambers Street.
Join us in the INC2019 Exhibition area for an end of show drink !
