New Australian Marine Safety Authority Vision for Marine Navigation to the Year 2030

The Australian Marine Safety Authority (AMSA) has released its vision for Marine Navigation to the year 2030, with Worldwide relevance, incorporating improvements in electronic data, Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and Positioning Navigation and Timing (PNT).

AMSA in Australia have produced a fascinating document about their intended plans for navigation in the future, which has relevance for navigators worldwide. The work outlines the emerging trends and drivers in navigation technology and communications, as well as describing the anticipated impacts these will have on the maritime industry.
