Value of RIN Membership
The RIN is unique - there is no other organisation that brings together such a wide range of people: not just technology, not just science, not just the practice of navigation, but all three.
The sense of community and of being part of an organisation which is special has been a constant throughout the RIN's history. The RIN was founded over 75 years ago. Some members have been with us for more
than 60 years!
In joining the RIN you can expect a very warm welcome and to feel part of an organisation which is your life-long partner in building knowledge, understanding and perspective in all things related to positioning,
navigation and timing.
Looking forwards from the RIN’s 75th Anniversary in 2022 our aim is to contribute our knowledge towards a more sustainable future. Collaboration and working within the RIN across disciplines and with a global perspective is rewarding and is more impactful.
