China's first domestically developed autonomous cargo ship, the M/V Jindouyun 0 Hao, completed its maiden voyage after a grand inaugural ceremony on 15 December. Several remote control and autonomous voyage tests were completed before the voyage.
The M/V Jindouyun 0 Hao plays an important role in the country's efforts to speed up the planning and development of its intelligent shipping industry.
